CCFR works with a number of community, government and support organizations to provide high quality emergency services to the community.

 

Backstoppers

The BackStoppers provides needed support to the spouses and children of all local and county police officers, firefighters, publicly-funded paramedics and EMTs and volunteer fire protection units, who have lost their lives performing their duty.

Mesothelioma Center

The Mesothelioma Center offers the most comprehensive and current information on asbestos exposure and mesothelioma.

Firefighters are at risk of asbestos exposure because of its frequent use in older structures and its ability to linger in the air even after a fire has been extinguished. The goal of Mesotheliomaweb.org is to provide firefighters with the information they need to minimize their risk of exposure

State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA)

Our mission is to protect the lives and property of all Missourians when major disasters threaten public safety in any city, county or region of Missouri. SEMA responds to two types of disasters – natural and manmade.

St. Charles County Fire Academy

The St. Charles County Fire Academy Firefighter I and II Program follows the traditional school year beginning in September with certification testing and graduation in June. Classes are held on Monday and Thursday nights from 7 to 10 PM, and two Saturdays per month from 8 AM to 4 PM.

International Code Council

Building Officials and Code Administrators (BOCA) (published the BOCA National Building Code and other National Codes) is now the International Code Council.

St. Charles County Rescue Task Force

The St. Charles County Special Operations Team is a Division of the St. Charles County Emergency Services Association and is overseen by the St. Charles County Fire Protection Association. The Chief’s Representative that oversees the team is Fire Chief Ernie Rhodes. The rescue team is part of the St. Louis Metro Heavy Rescue Task Force. The St. Charles County Special Operations Team is also known as the St. Louis Metro Heavy Rescue Task Force – Strike Team # 1. The primary mission of Strike Team # 1 is Urban Search and Rescue.
