SAFE-T: Securing A Future of Excellence Together is a community driven process to explore the challenges and opportunities facing Central County Fire & Rescue and create long-term solutions for the District. Participants study equipment, facilities, finance and staffing and create recommendations for the future of each area.

Throughout 2008 and 2009 hundreds of residents came together through the program to create a plan for the future of CCFR. This plan was approved by voters in April 2009.

Although the plan was approved in 2009, SAFE-T is an ongoing effort to involve the community in making decisions about the future of CCFR.

Everyone in the community is encouraged to participate.

Upcoming Events:

It has been a year since you came together to develop and approve SAFE-T plan. With the funding in place, and the plan in motion, it is time to come together again to hear what you think.

Since the funds from the approved SAFE-T ballot issue became available in January 2010, CCFR has been able to maintain the current level of service, while improving areas such as technology, staffing levels and facilities.
