Travel Adapters Recalled

Recalled Travel Adapter

Apple has recalled its travel adapter kits made for use in Australia/New Zealand/Argentina, Brazil, Continental Europe and Korea due to risk of electric shock. Approximately 895,000 of these travel adapter kits and plugs were sold in the U.S. and Canada.

The company has received at least 12 reports of wall plug adapters breaking and consumers receiving electric shocks overseas, including three reports of consumers who were medically evaluated and released.

Visit the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for more information about the recall and to find out how to receive a free replacement.
