Securing a Future of Excellence – Together
A decade of the community coming together to plan for the future of CCFR
Since 2008 thousands of residents have been working to secure a strong future for Central County Fire & Rescue (CCFR) through the SAFE-T (Securing A Future of Excellence – Together) program.
Through SAFE-T, the community has come together through meetings, open houses and more to study the challenges and opportunities facing CCFR, and create solutions. SAFE-T is an ongoing way for residents to be involved in determining the future of their emergency services.

SAFE-T 2018: New Fire Station #5
Residents recommended replacing the aging Fire Station #5 to better meet the needs of the community during the SAFE-T process. Due to sound financial planning, funding is now available for the new building, and the planning process has begun.
Before starting construction, we wanted to know what kind of station you would prefer, and if you thought the proposed new station will meet the needs of the community. Everyone was invited to attend a community input session on March 20, 2018 to learn more and provide feedback. The community was also encouraged to provide feedback online.
