The competition is heating up in the Central County Fire & Rescue fire protection district — the annual trivia competition, that is.
Central County Fire & Rescue and St. Peters City elected officials will co-host the annual trivia night, benefiting Meals on Wheels, on Friday, Oct. 23, at St. Peters City Hall.
“This is one of our most popular events, and one we look forward to every year,” CCFR Chief Russ Mason says. “We love to see our community members involved in a little friendly competition, especially for such an important cause.”
The St. Peters Senior Center Home Delivered Meals Program, or Meals on Wheels, delivers nearly 150 meals per day (Monday-Friday) to homebound seniors and disabled residents in our community, allowing these residents to remain independent in their homes.
Tickets are $25 per person, or $200 for a table of eight, and include 10 rounds of mixed trivia. Complimentary soda and beer will be provided. The evening will also include a best-decorated table contest, a silent auction, a 50/50 and other raffles.
To register, contact Assistant Chief Steve Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org or 636.970.9700, ext. 403. You may also deliver registration and payment to CCFR Station #1, #1 Timberbrook Dr., St. Peters, MO. Checks should be made payable to Central County Community Outreach.
Event organizers are also seeking individuals or businesses interested in donating items for the raffle and/or silent auction. To sponsor, contact Steve Brown (see above) or Alderman Jerry Hollingsworth at 636-262-0999.
