Central County Fire & Rescue (CCFR) firefighter/paramedic Chris Jones has been promoted to Deputy Chief Instructor with the St. Louis County Fire Academy.
Jones has worked as an instructor at the academy for the past two years when he is off-duty with CCFR. Instructors at the academy are all working firefighters from departments around St. Louis and St. Charles counties. In his new role, Jones will lead recruitment efforts within area high schools and work with the recruits in the academy.
