Walmart has recalled approximately 1.2 million of its Rival brand electric water kettles.
The kettles were recalled after reports that they might pose burn and shock hazards to users. Walmart has received 80 reports of incidents, including seven reports of burns. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled kettle — sold exclusive at Walmart and Walmart.com from 2011-2014 — and return it to any Walmart store for a full refund.
