CCFR is proud to announce the promotion of eight team members, and the hiring of three new firefighters. “This is a strong team of new leaders and firefighters that will help guide our District to a strong future,” says CCFR Chief Russ Mason.

Brad Peters was promoted from Captain to Battalion Chief, Matthew Dermody and Tom Wylie are the District’s newest Captains, and Eric Braatz, Kevin Krutil, Paul Burns, Tim Mosher and Mark Bush were all promoted from Firefighter to Engineer.

“All of these firefighters have given more than 15 years of dedicated service to our community, and will serve as a strong example for our new and current firefighters,” Mason says.

In addition to the promotions, CCFR welcomed new firefighters Mathew Conoyer, Clay Lively and Brian Weicht.

“We are fortunate to have recruited the best new firefighters in the area to serve our residents and community,” Mason says.
