The District is soliciting the services of qualified firms of certified public accountants with experience and interest to audit all funds of the District. The audit is to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, the standards set forth in financial audits in the US Government Accountability Office’s (GAO) Government Auditing Standards, and the provision of the Federal Single Audit of States, Local Governments, and non-profit organizations.
