Bryan Schuster leads a three-person engine company and serves as Incident Commander in emergency situations.

He is also responsible for coordinating, overseeing and recommending training for his company, including physical fitness training.

Schuster is a licensed paramedic who holds his Missouri Division of Fire Safety Firefighter I and II, Fire Officer I and II, and Fire Service Instructor certifications. He is a Missouri Certified Hazardous Materials Technician, and an ANSI (American National Standards Institute) Crossfit Level I Trainer. Schuster is a graduate of Hazelwood Central High School and holds Associate Degrees in Applied Science for Fire Protection Technology and Paramedic Technology.

Outside of work, Schuster is passionate about fitness and enjoys spending time outdoors and hockey. He once even had the privilege to play a game of professional hockey. Along with his wife and two children, Schuster lives in New Town at St. Charles.
