For firefighter/paramedic Justin Gaffron, joining the team at Central County Fire & Rescue provided a great opportunity for career advancement. Gaffron has worked in EMS for the past seven years, most recently with another area fire department.

“I have been in the fire service for the past two years,” Gaffron says. “I’ve come to really enjoy the variety of the different calls we run, and of course the camaraderie around the firehouse. I’m excited to get to know my new crew members at CCFR.”

Gaffron’s interests outside of work are varied — he even considered going to culinary school. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, playing hockey and working on projects around his house.
