Kyle Handley - Central County Fire & Rescue

Kyle Handley

Firefighter A-Shift

Served Since 2019

Firefighter/paramedic Kyle Handley, who graduated from high school in St. Peters, has long dreamed of working for Central County Fire & Rescue.

Handley is dedicated to the service of others: After serving in the Army as a combat medic, he returned to St. Louis, where he worked with the Clayton Fire Department for five years. He joined CCFR in March 2019.

“My favorite part of the job is helping people — I really enjoy being able to help others,” he said, adding that CCFR is a District known for its work in the community and for being a great place to grow in one’s career.

When not at work, Handley enjoys working out, playing hockey (he’s a longtime St. Louis Blues fan) and spending time with his family. And, he says, “I still play with Legos.”
