Applicants must submit a resume and a letter of intent outlining their interest in the position, as well as their qualifications and relevant experience, to Chief Schneider no later than Monday, August 3rd at noon.
At a minimum, the candidate will possess a State of Missouri Paramedic license, a Fire Service Instructor II certification, a B.A. or B.S. from an accredited, recognized institution in fire science, fire administration, or a related field, and at least five years of supervisory experience.
Candidates should also be prepared to present and discuss an internal/external training business plan during the interview process. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the expansion of our training program and training complex, positioning it as a regional and Midwestern hub for fire and emergency services education and professional development.
